What Sunplus parts are used for

Sunplus devices sit inside consumer and educational electronics — toy and game hardware, small appliances, display controllers and embedded terminals. The packages are fine-pitch QFP or QFN, so the board footprint is decided early and the exact code is the only thing that fits it.

QFP and QFN variants of the same family are different footprints; check pin count and pitch before comparing codes.
Programmed firmware is specific to the device and the product — we supply blank parts, so confirm your programming path exists.

Cross-reference notes

QFP and QFN versions of a Sunplus family are electrically related but physically unrelated — the footprint, the thermal path and the rework method all change. Where a board is being repaired, the package in the listing should be matched against the one on the PCB before anything is ordered. Because these devices usually carry product-specific firmware, a replacement also has to be programmable in the same way as the original.
