3M board-level interconnect in stock at YILUDA TECH. Eight 3M connector lines are held as 100% original, new and unused material, drawn from the ribbon-mount and high-speed board connector families that 3M built its interconnect business on.
What is on the shelf
- 101xx ribbon headers — 10120-52B2PC, 10126-52B2PC and 10250-6212PC. The trailing digits give the position count: 10120 is a 20-position part, 10250 a 50-position part. These are the two-row 1.27 mm board headers used with matched ribbon cable assemblies.
- 37xxx shell connectors — 37204-62A3-004PL, 37206-62A3-003PL, 37212-62MB-003PL and 37216-62M3-004PL. These are the latched shell-style connectors used where the cable must stay seated under vibration.
- E5-8M-CAMERA — a camera module interconnect part.
Why the mating half decides the order
A board header and a cable plug are one mechanical system, not two parts. The position count, the row spacing, the latch or shell option and the board footprint all have to match across the pair. Two 20-position headers from different families will not mate, and a shell-style connector will not accept a plain ribbon plug. When you send an enquiry, the safest reference is the full code of the part you are replacing plus the board thickness, because the tail length and the stand-off are chosen against the PCB.
Assembly notes
- Plating suffix changes with the orderable code (004PL and 003PL denote different finish and packing options) — quote the whole code, not the base number.
- Ribbon headers rely on the cable assembly for strain relief; a header alone will not survive repeated flexing.
