Series available
- PW series — PW250, PW210, PW118, PW410 and PW112 in SOT-89 and SMD.
- PS series — PS103-63 in SOT-363 for compact footprints.
SOT-89 parts suit positions where a little dissipation is needed without moving to a larger package; SOT-363 covers the space-constrained end of the same design.
Where they fit
Parts in this range turn up in power conversion, signal conditioning and small control blocks inside consumer and industrial boards. Because the codes are short and the packages are common, they are easy to overlook in a bill of materials until a line stops — which is usually when they are ordered.
