Viking
Viking Tech precision resistors in stock at YILUDA TECH. Forty-five Viking lines are held as 100% original, new and unused material, mostly thin-film series where tolerance and temperature coefficient decide the design.
Series available
- AR series thin film — AR03 and AR06 in 0603 and 1206 sizes, the precision parts used in measurement and instrumentation dividers.
- ART series — ART03BTDX8200A and similar, the higher-stability variants of the same family.
- CR series thick film — CR-06JA710K0 for general-purpose positions where 5% is enough.
The codes carry size, tolerance, packaging and value, so a specific 0.1% part can be identified without ambiguity.
Why thin film matters
In a divider feeding an ADC, the error that matters is not the initial tolerance but how far the ratio drifts with temperature. Thin-film parts hold their ratio far better than thick film, and the difference shows up as measurement drift that looks like a sensor fault. That is why precision positions use AR-series parts even though they cost more than the resistors around them.
Ordering notes
- AR03BTCX3002A is a 30 kΩ 0.1% 0603 part; the tolerance letter is part of the code and must not be dropped.
- For divider pairs, order both values together so they come from the same production lot where possible.
- Worldwide shipping from Shenzhen by DHL, FedEx or UPS.

Substitution pitfalls
The tolerance printed on the code is the initial value; what usually matters more is temperature coefficient and long-term drift. Two 0.1% parts from different series can behave differently over a 40 °C swing. For a divider pair, buy both resistors together so they come from the same lot and track each other — a matched pair from a single run is worth more than a tighter individual tolerance.
